Virtual Physics Labs from KET

Looking for interactive Physics lab simulations for your high school or college courses? Let your students use KET’s virtual equipment with your lab activities, or ours, with no lab set up time and with no need for physical apparatus in your classroom. An editable AP-level lab activity is supplied with nearly every piece of apparatus.

Click the Free Trial tab to request a 60-day full-access trial. This trial is for teachers, professors, administrators, home-schooling parents or guardians. Students cannot sign up for the trial, but teachers can invite their students into a trial.

Once you receive access to the free trial, you have 60 days to test the labs. And you’ll be able to invite your students into the trial, too.

If you decide that you’d like to purchase a one-year school license for the labs, just click the Purchase License tab at any time during the trial period. (This tab is only present after you start the 60-day trial.) Or contact Linda Hofacker at virtuallabs_enroll@ket.org, or 1-800-333-9764 to discuss purchase options such as paying by check or purchase order.

A note from your lab assistant

Hello to all you virtual physics lab users out there.  My name is Brian Vincent and I’m to blame for creating some of the labs you’ll find here. I’m also assisting with signing up for trials, buying licenses, troubleshooting and everything else involved with the Virtual Physics Labs program.  If you send something off to virtuallabs@ket.org there’s a good chance you’ll get a response from me, even if it’s “I’ll have to ask Chuck.”

Be sure to check out the new DC Circuits lab coming soon.  It’s our latest project and the most complex one to date.  As such, It’s still in the beginning stages so keep an eye out for updated features on this one in the future.  Questions or feedback about this lab or any other would be a big help towards improving the quality of our work here, so don’t hesitate to send an email.
